Clos des Morinières
The “Appellation Muscadet Sèvre et Maine” covers twenty-three communes to the southeast of Nantes and is named after the two rivers that cross the vineyards: the Petite Maine and the Sèvre Nantaise.
Clos des Morinières is made with 100% Melon de Bourgogne aged on lees. The colour is straw yellow with green highlights. The complex nose of lime, wild peach and fennel is accompanied by mineral notes. On the palate it is dry, fresh and mineral. Perfectly served at 8°-12°C as an aperitif or paired with shellfish, grilled seafood, crab quiche, tomme de chevre de muscadet. Goes well with oriental cuisine.
