Description

Domaine Moulinier – Saint Chinian AOP

Saint-Chinian is a French wine, from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region of France. It is usually a blend of several grape varieties, and produced in red, rosé, and white versions. Since 1982, the name is protected by an appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC), named after the nearby village of Saint-Chinian.

Domaine Moulinier Saint Chinian AOC is a full bodied wine, made by a blend of Syrah and Grenache (the same blend used in the Cotes du Rhone wines). On the nose it is complex with notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum, black pepper and mixed spices. On the palate it is smooth, mineral and well balanced with a long finish. Particularly good paired with roasted meats, steak, stews, gourmet beef burgers, game and cheese.
